Chris began his career as a recording engineer at Chappell's Recording Studios in Bond Street, London.  He went on to compose and produce soundtracks for video and film.

Until 2014 he ran the High Barn record label, recording studio and music venue.

During this time he was a member of the Arts Council Escalator panel for Music.

High Barn Records released around 25 albums with both well established and new artists. 

Artists performing at High Barn included Matt Cardle, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Lucie Silvas, Amy Wadge,  Newton Faulkner, Glenn Tilbrook, Shakatak, Wishbone Ash, The Strawbs, Show of Hands, Ralph McTell and many others. 

Throughout his career he has been a gigging musician, working as guitarist and bass player in various pop, rock and folk bands performing a mix of original material and covers.   (more......)
