Chris began his career as a recording engineer at Chappell's Recording Studios in Bond Street, London. He went on to compose music and produce audio soundtracks for video and film.
Until 2014 he ran the High Barn record label, recording studio and music venue.
During this time he was a member of the Arts Council panel for Music.
High Barn Records released around 25 albums with both well established and new artists.
Artists performing at High Barn included Matt Cardle, Ed Sheehan, Sam Smith, Lucie Silvas, Amy Wadge, Newton Faulkner, Glenn Tilbrook, Shakatak, Wishbone Ash, The Strawbs and many others.
Throughout his career he has been a gigging musician, working as guitarist and bass player in various pop and rock bands performing a mix of original material and covers.
To make a living now, he develops 3D virtual worlds for business. (See www.visit.ltd), but he continues to perform and to record in his home studio for fun. He also helps with workshops for young and up coming musicians on a voluntary basis.
